Danyel's Story
Born in Colorado and raised in Texas, Danyel’s personal journey of resilience and transformation inspired the creation of G.R.A.C.E. to support survivors and marginalized communities.

From a young age, Danyel carried responsibilities far beyond her years—caring for her mother and brother due to mental illness, stepping up when her parents divorced , and working tirelessly to keep her family afloat. Even in the face of trauma, Danyel sought healing—not just for herself but for those around her.

Through these experiences, Danyel came to understand the deep impact of generational trauma and poverty. Witnessing firsthand how cycles of struggle, abuse, and mental illness can be passed down, she refused to let those patterns define her future. Instead, Danyel fought to break free—not only for herself but for others who feel trapped by circumstances beyond their control.

A turning point came eight years ago when Danyel met her wife; Sherrice, who helped her see that survival isn’t the end of the road—growth, healing, and love is possible, too. That realization planted the seeds of G.R.A.C.E. Growth. Resilience. Achievement. Community. Empowerment., an organization built to ensure that others don’t have to walk their journeys alone.

Two years ago, Danyel’s son was born, becoming her deepest motivation. He represents everything she’s fought for—the breaking of cycles, the power of resilience, and the hope for a better future. Every step taken with G.R.A.C.E. is not just for the community but for him, ensuring that he grows up in a world where healing, empowerment, and opportunity are possible for everyone.

G.R.A.C.E. is not just an organization; it is a movement of empowerment, resilience, and hope. It is Danyel’s answer to the hardships endured—a way to help survivors, those transitioning from incarceration, and individuals affected by systemic barriers find the opportunities and support they deserve.
Danyel Fox’s story is proof that from pain can come purpose and that through community, healing is possible. From surviving to thriving!
