Asya Stiles
Asya's Story
Asya spent her youth between Germany and Colorado Springs as a child and teenager. The same year Asya graduated from high school, her parents retired from the military at Fort Carson. Upon graduating high school, Asya had her first child. As a young, single mother Asya had to learn how to navigate government aid and use community resources. Asya had to acknowledge the hard truth was her parents and the school system never educated her on how to be an adult, but Asya was driven to not stay in her situation for long. During Asya’s journey as a single mother of one, her little family grew to two children and more knowledge of what the community
had to offer as well as lacked.
Although Asya and her children had plenty of support from family and friends, there was a glaring missing link, economic survival. After working in the corporate world for over decades Asya was fortunate to meet many mentors that would teach her to think and dream bigger. Asya learned how to be a professional, see her self-worth and be a leader. The tools Asya learned from her mentors gave her the drive to seek opportunities to teach these skills to others to hopefully to better their futures.
In 2007 Asya and her husband were married and created a blended family of two daughters and two sons. Four short years later the family welcomed two more children, which brought their family to three girls and three boys. Asya and her husband lived check to check for years, however during COVID through advice of financial counselors and discipline Asya and her husband were able to start building a stable life for their family. Asya and her husband decided that when the time came they would instruct their children as much as possible about being financially stable.
Asya’s passion to help others see their potential and be the best version of themselves has not wavered in decades. When Asya and C.E.O. Danyel Fox sat down and began mapping out the plans for G.R.A.C.E. both of their past experiences were top of mind and how to create a space where others would have the tools necessary to find a path forward.
